About My Personal Weather Station
The data on this site comes from my Davis Vantage Pro2 wireless weather station.
The temperature and rain sensors are located on my property mounted on a five foot post, optimally placed to avoid false readings. The anemometer and weather vane are located 30 feet above the ground, mounted on the peak of my garage.
The data collected by the sensors are transmitted wirelessly to the Davis weather station console in my house. The console is connected to a PC computer via USB. The computer is running Windows 10 and is connected to the internet full time using ADSL.
The weather data is sent near real-time from my computer to this website by Weather Display Software . This page updates every 10 seconds on average.

The Town of Woodlands is located in the rural municipality of Woodlands in the province of Manitoba, Canada. It is located on Provincial Highway #6, thirty kilometers northwest of the City of Winnipeg.
